Smart Schools Bond Act Notice of Intent to Amend Smart Schools Plan – School Connectivity

The original plan for wiring and adding wireless connectivity to Cicero North Syracuse High School, North Syracuse Junior High School, and Main Street was projected to cost $3,094,788.00. Materials and labor came in lower with the competitive bidding process and the project finished with a total of $2,778,223.06. Therefore, we are notifying the citizens of the North Syracuse Central School District of our intent to amend the original plan and to use the balance of $316,564.94 on classroom technology.

Over the last few years the District has been replacing the aging Smart Boards and Projectors with ViewSonic interactive boards. This amendment will allow the District to complete this replacement allowing for consistency for staff and students throughout all learning spaces.
