Kick Off to Kindergarten

The North Syracuse Central School District is thrilled to welcome its newest students! Families with children born on or before December 1, 2020, are invited to attend our in-person kindergarten registration events in April.

This is a fantastic opportunity for families to complete the registration process, meet school staff and district representatives and have their questions answered—all in one convenient location. Attendees will learn more about our schools and the resources available to support their child’s educational journey.

In-Person Registration Details:
Location: Jerome F. Melvin Administrative Office Building (5355 West Taft Rd., North Syracuse)
Time: 12:30-3:30 PM & 4:00-6:00 PM
Registration Dates by School:

• April 1: Cicero Elementary School and  Lakeshore Road Elementary School
• April 2: KWS Bear Road Elementary School and Roxboro Road Elementary
• April 3: Allen Road Elementary School and Smith Road Elementary School

Required Documents for Registration:

• Completed registration packet
• Parent/Guardian photo identification
• Child’s birth certificate
• Proof of residence (e.g., recent utility bill, mortgage statement, lease/rental agreement, or notarized statement from a landowner)
• Most recent physical and immunization records
• Custody papers (if applicable)

Families who are unable to attend their designated in-person registration date can complete the process online by visiting: https://cnyric02.schooltool.com/cns/onlinepreregistration/. All required documents must be submitted via email to Registrar@nscsd.org to finalize the registration.
