Counselors available at Gillette Road Middle School

March 18, 2025 

The North Syracuse Central School District has learned of the death of a 6th grade student from Gillette Road Middle School.  The district's Crisis Response Team is in place at the school to provide immediate counseling and support to students and staff. Our counselors are available to offer assistance, resources and strategies to help students cope. Counselors will be at Gillette Road Middle School from 4:00-6:00 PM today. They will remain available in the coming days to offer guidance, comfort and resources. Additionally, care stations will be set up in the school's library tomorrow for students. If you feel your child needs additional support, please do not hesitate to reach out to Mrs. Jones, Gillette Road Middle School Principal at 315-218-3000.
