Gillette Road Middle School Proudly Presents 'Frozen, Jr.' March 19-21 Gillette Road Middle School Proudly Presents 'Frozen, Jr.' March 19-21: Gillette’s Road Middle School’s production of Frozen Jr. is made up of a cast and crew of more than 120 students. In addition to the traditional Frozen songs, Frozen Jr. the musical has new songs the school is excited to perform. In addition, there is exciting synchronized light show!  The cast and crew have worked really hard to put on a sensational show and they hope to see you there! District Voters Approve Dual Propositions for Capital Project Referendum District Voters Approve Dual Propositions for Capital Project Referendum: North Syracuse Central School District voters were asked to approve two propositions for the district’s proposed capital project referendum: one for renovations at KWS Bear Road Elementary School and  one for the purchase of land adjacent to Cicero-North Syracuse High School. Both propositions were approved. More than 600 votes were cast, with the final tally being 418 yes votes/184 no votes on the Bear Road Elementary School proposition and 454 yes votes/146 no votes on the land purchase. Reverse 911 Call may impact student pick-up Reverse 911 Call may impact student pick-up: Please be advised that on the morning of Wednesday, September 20, the district received a call from 911 requesting that we avoid picking up students in the area of South Bay Road from route 81 to McCambidge Drive and the Darby Farm Development.  There was a reverse 911 call placed to those residents asking them to keep their children inside the house until further notice.  We will not pick up those students until we have been released to do so by 911.  Parents that call will be notified that we will pick up students after the emergency has been lifted.
Language Learners Club hosting 2nd annual Festival of Nations at NSJH Language Learners Club hosting 2nd annual Festival of Nations at NSJH: The North Syracuse Junior High School Language Learners Club is hosting their second annual Festival of Nations at the school on Wednesday, April 5. The event will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the South Dining Room. There is no entrance charge for students and adult tickets are available at the door for only $1 each. Food samples will be sold for $.25 per food ticket. The Language Learners Club is also hosting a Nepalese dance group to come in and show us some dance moves! This is the group's fundraiser for the year, so they're hoping for a big turnout! Please support our students!
