What are we about?  Our goal is to provide workshops in an informal setting for net-working and facilitated discussion about raising and educating children with ADHD (including ADD). We occasionally have guest speakers who welcome Q & A sessions.

Who Attends?  Any parent, caregiver or teacher interested in learning more about ADHD, whether or not your child or student has a diagnosis.  Some come if they suspect their child has ADHD, some come because their child has a diagnosis and they are struggling with the decision to medicate or not medicate, some come looking for advice on behavioral issues, some simply come to be with others who understand how challenging it can be to raise and/or teach a child with ADHD.

Can children come? We ask that children not come because of the nature of the discussions and the purpose of the group. We do not provide childcare. When we have a guest speaker, mature teens 11 and up are welcome.

Are folks from outside the district welcome? Absolutely! We welcome parents, caregivers and teachers from all over Onondaga County and adjoining counties.  No prior sign-up is required and all meetings/workshops are free.

Have a guest speaker to recommend? Our guest speakers come out of the kindness of their hearts, since there is little funding available.
