The 8^th grade football program this year will have only one team.  If you are interested in playing football for the school please sign up with your physical education teacher.  I would also like an email sent to me Tfeeney@nscsd.org .  This will help me be prepared for the number of players we will have on the team this year.  We will only carry about 50 players on the team.  This means that cuts may be necessary.  Practice will begin on Tuesday September 7^th.  We will meet on the basketball court behind the North Syracuse Junior High School at 3:00.  Practice will run from 3 until 5.  This will be our practice time every day of the season when school is in session.  There are games and practices on Saturdays, those times will be announced in the fall.  We will have a parent meeting on Saturday September 11^th in the junior high cafeteria at 9:30 am.

All paperwork may be picked up from your PE teacher before school ends. It can also be printed from the school district web site www.nscsd.org follow the site to the athletic department.  All players will need a physical before they can participate.  All paperwork must be turned in by Tuesday August 31st.  It should be turned at North Syracuse Junior High school. 

It is important to come into the season in good physical condition.  The fitness center at the high school will be open during the summer.  The hours are 8-12 Monday thru Friday and 5-9 Monday thru Thursday.  Northstar Football camp will run Monday July 12^th to Friday July 16^th .
