Offensive Records
All records recognized on this website now date back to the 1982 football season (when North Syracuse & Cicero High Schools combined to take the football field for the first time as CNS). We understand that doesn't include the years prior to 1982 when North Syracuse and Cicero existed as two seperate High Schools, but we do intend to take on that enormous project at some point, so please bare with us!
The records listed on these pages where put together using the following sources:
1. Coach Ellis’ game by game stats recorded by Tom Feeney during each game (2008 - 2002).
2. Neil Kerrs’ weekly statistical leaders as posted in the sports section of The Post Standard (2001 - 1982).
3. Syracuse.com Newspaper Archives of box scores &/or any articles written about our games from both The Post Standard & The Herald Journal (2001 - 1982).
If you know of any outstanding performances that should be included on these records pages, please contact Coach Ellis at sellis@nscsd.org with confirmation of the performance and we’ll be sure to update our records! Please understand that this is not an overnight process and it will take some time. We are currently in the process of collecting all of the defensive data so we can establish defensive record books. This is quite a project and we will finish it as soon as we can, so stay tuned!
